We had another great call today. This time it was with a community land trust organization that's looking to provide a platform for fund seekers and fund providers to find each other and mutually benefit from a partnership.

On my list. Big freaking list, sigh. #bullshit job gets in way of so many good things, like reading all the good books! but, no commons, insufficient spoons for all the farming, making, care work that needs doing, so slogging job seems necessary for now.
In a pile somewhere I hid on myself is The Art of Not Being Governed, which I started. Will return to it eventually. May have to learn it hard way in actual resistance instead.

It’s a fantastic location (https://www.walkscore.com/score/1100-f-st-ne-washington-dc-20002) and looks like a cool old school building that was in the midst of being converted to apartments/condos, but now there are weeds growing out of the brick and it’s sitting empty in a town where housing is at a premium. I know there must be some kind of process to move this toward being a community-managed asset, but I don’t know where to start.
Does anyone else have experience with these things? Are there #CommunityLandTrust groups to talk to?
