I'm not going to lie: automatically expiring mutes are how I've managed to keep several people in my feed.

Don't get me wrong, I like reading what these people post. Most of the time. But sometimes they overwhelm my timeline, and I need a break. The ability to mute these accounts for a couple hours is why I can keep them around. If I couldn't do that I'd have to drop them.

I just realized #mastodon lacks the option to get notified when somebody uses a certain #hashtag. Especially for less frequently used tags it would be a good thing to be notified when something happens. #mastodonfeedback #mastodonfeatures #allheimen @Gargron @apps

Killer or at least essential feature to speed the #twittermigration #twitterexodus: a tweet import feature so that one could bring in their historical date-accurate archive into your Mastodon history. (This also applies to be able to transfer posts from one instance to another when migrating)

It would be nice to have an option to re-order the pinned posts in my profile without having to unpin them all and re-pin them in the order I want

I miss the link previews - both text and pictures - even more than I miss #QTs on #Mastodon.

Would love to be able to follow hashtags not just to include them the main feed but also be listed under the # menu in mobile. Maybe there’s a way to do this already? #mastodonfeatures

How do we get Mastodon to add the ability to reblog WITH ur own additional post? Being able to add your own context when reblogging is the most collaborative feature of Twitter that I actually like (and really the only feature I'm missing here).

I don't know how possible updates to a platform like this are, but I'd love to see it! #features #uidesign #collab #mastodonfeatures #mastodon #twitter

This post is a quote post example. Do this in Web UI:
- For the post u want to quote, click (...) menu, click "Copy link to post"
- Click Publish & add comment & paste link
- Add @ mention to let them know you quoted them!
- Add hashtags

This kind of thing should really be a default on Mastodon. Glad I'm an admin and can do whatever I want.

It would be great if boosts in #Mastodon apps show the time of the boost in addition to the time of the post being boosted. #MastodonFeatures

One of my favorite #MastodonFeatures is the Filter
I can group terms in a single filter and choose to hide with a warning or hide completely.
I created an "Assholes" filter with the usual suspects TFG, Kanye, et al.. Turned it off for a few minutes to catch up with news but ugh..
Turning back on. That is a super helpful tool for my well-being.
Also sorry folks but I'm filtering your Twitter autoRTs and your Wordle updates. Simply a choice.
