📍 Besuch der Templerburg Castillo de Xivert 🏰✨

🚐 Auf unserer Reise durch Spanien haben wir das beeindruckende Castillo de Xivert entdeckt – eine ehemalige Templerburg, die hoch auf einem Hügel thront. 🗺️

🔭 Die Aussicht von hier oben ist einfach atemberaubend! Von dem strategisch gewählten Standort hat man einen grandiosen 360° Rundumblick und auch das Meer im Blick.

🏰 Die Architektur der Burg ist beeindruckend – von den gut erhaltenen Mauern bis zu den Geschichten, die sie erzählen. Hier fühlt man sich wie mitten in einem mittelalterlichen Abenteuer! 🕰️✨

Wir standen in einem ruhigen Mandarinenhain und sind zu Fuß zur Burg gelaufen. Bzw. zum Schluss nur einer von uns, Hendrik war es letztendlich zu steil. 😅

Es sind genau diese Erlebnisse, die unser langsames Reisen so einzigartig machen. ❤️

🎒 Wenn Du in die Geschichte Spaniens eintauchen möchtest, fernab der üblichen Touristenströme, dann ist ein Besuch des Castillo de Xivert absolut zu empfehlen. ✅

Looking for explanations…

Jet lagged & no plans today, so had an easy start, jumped on metro, & still managed to walk over 10km according to my phone. Oh, & lose 3 hours of my life getting the e-sim to work. But it’s working, partner can hotspot, & the walking is good if it’s broken up.

Love Barcelona’s Gothic quarter, uni & cathedral, the old one. Seeing Sagrada Familia tomorrow.

Grilled hake, cod croquettes, salad & chips for lunch, bocadilloes (sandwiches) for breakfast. Will get serious about food tomorrow.
