This is my 5th day off from work, which I use for potting plants, getting some things done, and for exploring the Hohenlohe hinterland by bike. I try to stay away from Künzelsau, the centre of Würth-Land. Otherwise, exploring the roads between remote villages is fun.
Also more than 500 km this week with about 4800 m altitude up in a bit more than 18h on the bike. That's 28 km/h on average.
Geißberg (Goat Hill) in Tiefensall, Hohenlohe. 20% incline. A bit too steep for my 39 teeth chainwheel and my 25 teeth sprocket.
Villages in the narrow Sall valley are connected by a network of small roads, which sometimes take unexpected turns.
I think, that maybe the endless rainy season we've had this year (for which we're of course grateful) might have ended! Hopefully the first of some sunny days!
