I have been lucky to visit Japan 6 or 7 times. I have also been lucky to see “Maman” at the foot of the Mori Tower twice, and at the foot of the Bilbao Guggenheim museum twice, too where the same statue is installed.

Underneath the gigantic metallic statue “Maman” which represents long-legged spider carrying eggs in a meshed underbelly. The gigantic Mori Tower is rising above it. The sky is blue.
