So I know #AI is super controversial and I get the ethical issues re: #stealing from #artists and replacing #labor, but one area where I think it's pretty universally agreed that AI is a really cool thing is image upscaling. It's straight up #CSI #Enhance stuff now. And that actually means a lot because my family lost all of our photos in #Hurricane Harvey several years back. The flood ruined all the picture albums. BUT, I had luckily digitized a bunch of #homemovies from #VHS to my #server.

@triptych I agree to the root issue is the web being too complex. You *should* be able to go far with an editor and vanilla technologies.

Reality is, you don't. Infrastructure is still too complex. And when you start to deal with infrastructure you easily come to a point where - at least - something like #enhance would have been worth.

Replied to Brian LeRoux 💚

@brianleroux Yeah it’s tough going. Stay true to your values, keep building, share about what makes #enhance, architect and begin stand out from your competition. It’s a heart and minds marketing game with dev’s which you only need to win some over (enough times to make you profitable). As it’s those dev’s who will fight for your product in companies. Keep going. I love enhance css in particular ❤️.

Posit: the baseline difference between enhance.dev and lit.dev is how we approach rendering.

Lit is focused on a client-side rendering model. While possible to server-side render the capability is not production ready per their docs.

Enhance is focused on server-side rendering html-first treating client upgrade as a progressive enhancement step.

I think this approaches are complementary if you think of Lit for interactivity.
