@stib It never stops. Our daughter is 25 and still leaving food plates, cups, bowls all over the house after snacking, dirty socks on the couch, make-up in the living room, bathroom, kitchen, her room is a bio- hazard with dirty clothes everywhere and not a sq.cm. of floor visible anywhere. Her shower room (en suite) has mould. She last vacuumed her room maybe a year ago.
It's a shame bc shes a gorgeous, intelligent person with a big heart and this is the ONLY thing that causes arguments. She says it just doesn't bother her and she doesn't see the issue.
Our house is our home tho and i see nothing but disrespect in her behaviour. My husband says there's far worse she could do and just leave it. She and her bf are planning to get their own rental next year

1) EVERY parent meticulously followed for at least ten years,
2) because EVERY pediatrician said in good faith, according to available research, that kids NEED that thing...
but after 10, 15, 20 years... turned out to be VERY BAD?
