You know that old bullshit argument you hear about how abortion would have deprived the world of Beethoven? Without even going into how chastity would have had the same exact effect, can you even begin to think how many Beethoven-like talents have seen their potential stolen from their bodies and minds by mind-numbing, repetitive, pointless, bone-crushing work throughout history?
The main difference is that unlike Beethoven's abortion these people have to live every day of their life knowing that we have designed a society that thrives on depriving them of their aspirations, their hopes and their dreams.
And then the worst hypocrisy of course is that usually it ends up being the same people who don't want to allow you to abort the little Beethoven that only exists in their mind who will also support the worst working conditions possible to further crush a numbed, docile workforce that will allow them to increase their margins. Because art and artists are not a feature of capitalism, they are the bugs.
