This is what the #ADL (the Anti-Defamation League) says about the #zionist #Betar:

Betar USA is a chapter of the worldwide Zionist youth organization Betar, founded by early Zionist thinker and philosopher Ze’ev Jabotinsky in 1923. The U.S. chapter of Betar, which was revived in June 2023, adopts the far-right Kahanist slogan calling for Jewish armament, “Every Jew, a .22,” openly embraces Islamophobia and harasses Muslims online and in person. The group has indicated that they would like to work with the Proud Boys, a far-right extremist group with a history of antisemitism and Islamophobia, to “counter Islamic jihadis.”

"The head of the nation’s leading organization fighting #antisemitism questioned the #Trump administration’s aggressive effort to find and deport foreign students who have protested on behalf of #Palestinians, suggesting that the administration is betraying #American values, denying due process and punishing people for their views rather than their actions.

In pulling #student #visas and seeking to #deport #protesters who hold #greencards, the administration has failed to ensure due process that is central to America’s justice system, wrote Jonathan Greenblatt, chief executive and national director of the #AntiDefamationLeague [#ADL]."

Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the Islamophobic hate group #ADL claiming to fight #antisemitism in the U.S. (but really working to justify Israel's genocide in #Gaza,) declined to participate in the conference in response to criticism from his predecessor in the role, Abraham Foxman, after initial intention to attend the event.

#US / University of Michigan President Santa Ono’s ties with hate group ADL and anti-Palestinian bias

Speaking at an #ADL conference in Manhattan University of Michigan President, Santa Ono, admitted to increasing university investments in Israel-connected institutions in response to divestment calls, while embracing conspiracy theories about outside influences organizing campus protests against the genocide in #Gaza.

Ono's willingness to align with this controversial organization while suppressing pro-Palestinian campus speech intensifies concerns about his impartiality in addressing the Israeli occupation of Palestine at the university. Rep. Rashida Tlaib condemned the ADL as an "extremist group" with a "decades-long history of anti-Arab, anti-Muslim, and anti-Black racism."

Daniel L. Davis is a retired United States Army officer. He was one of the earliest military officers to publicly criticize the War in Afghanistan.
Davis is a Senior Fellow at Defense Priorities, a Foundation of the Koch brothers.
Davis was selected by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard for appointment as deputy director. On Wednesday, the Jewish Insider magazine ran a story against Davis ; neoconservative radio jock Mark Levin helped spread the Jewish Insider story to his 4.9 million followers; within hours, Davis was informed there would be no job.

Neo-McCarthyism transcends traditional political boundaries when Palestinians are involved. Anat Kam's take in #Haaretz on the Mahmoud Khalil case is shockingly more extreme than even CNN's coverage. While CNN examines the serious civil liberties concerns of a man with a pregnant wife being targeted for Palestinian advocacy, "liberal" Haaretz labels him a "Hamas supporter" based solely on tenuous claims about a #CUAD manifesto. Khalil appears to be another victim of weaponized #antisemitism accusations - a Trump administration tactic championed by the #ADL (enough to make it obvious that this is political persecution for criticism of #Israel, not for support of terrorism) that Kam conveniently ignores - designed specifically to silence Palestinian voices.

[...] Columbia University, which recently published a new protocol on its plans to cooperate with ICE, has targeted Khalil for his Palestinian identity and outspoken activism on multiple occasions over the last 17 months. He served as a lead negotiator during the Gaza Solidarity Encampment last spring and has frequently appeared in media interviews and press conferences. Columbia’s continued acquiescence to federal agencies and outside partisan institutions has made this situation possible. Like many other Arab and Muslim students, Khalil has been the target of various zionist harassment campaigns, fueled by doxxing websites like Canary Mission. This racist targeting serves to instill fear in pro-Palestine activists as well as a warning to others.

MUST WATCH!

Well crafted and researched piece on the ADL.

"The Anti-Defamation League does not exist to protect Jewish people. And they don't actually care about 'combating antisemitism'.

They're an extension of Israeli intelligence operating in the United States to make sure we support Israel."

c: @5149jamesli on IG

A new opinion piece by a former ADL staffer who left last year after the group honored Jared Kushner:

===

I watched from the inside as the ADL erased racial justice from its civil rights priorities, caved to pressure from conservative media for being “too woke,” and quietly abandoned core education programs. The shift began with an internal pause on its use of the word “racism” while it sought a “new” definition (spoiler: they still don’t have one). Then, it removed “racial justice” from its portfolio altogether.

Rather than expand anti-bias education, it shut down a decades-old initiative that helped students challenge discrimination. Then, it removed more than 100 lesson plans that helped educators address bias against LGBTQ, Muslim, and immigrant students.
