@ajsadauskas @JessTheUnstill @tomiahonen @fuchsiii obviously, that would've been a good standard for everyone, given that almost all non-#Gaming #Apps these days are #WebApps and at that point we'd not have 100+ MB #bloatware that essentially just loads a #Website and can't even cache shit!

Personally I believe the @europarl_en & @EUCommission could do that and establish as well as enforce an #EC #norm, just as they did with #USBc, #CCS2 and #GDPR!

#Android needs to be better as in being more than just the "lesser evil" compared to iOS!

Now I don't have to boot up Windows XP just to hear how awesome Windows XP was!

I still remember when Microsoft actually thought about the user. They were proprietary, but offline documentation was so useful cos I used Help and Support a ton back when I was learning Windows XP in 2011. I was only 9 years old back then.

I was given this unusual old computer by a client recently, found it was an old controller for a car park! The custom motherboard boasts a Core 2 duo T2500 CPU from a laptop. The original drive has Windows XP embedded on there and some proprietory software for controlling the car park hardware. The unit seems to have been manufactured in 2009.
I'm going to clean it up, pop a newer HDD in there and use it as a classic XP machine for now.

That honor probably belongs to Windows 7, or maybe even Windows 10 (once Microsoft ironed out the many problems that plagued it from the start). But certainly, Windows XP was a classic, and a huge step up from the operating systems that preceded it.
