how can I initiate this process via #SSH and logout of the pty without killing the shred process?

PC Neuinstallation. Wie befürchtet schon am ersten Schritt hängen bleiben: keine #WLAN Verbindung. Nichts hilft. Erstmal Spaziergang machen. Danach wird mir die lange Nase gezeigt, weil es jetzt klappt, wie es soll. #archinstall konfiguriert, bricht die Installation unmittelbar nach dem Start ab. Irgendwelche #python Fehler. Motivation im Keller, Frustpegel am Abheben. Früher hatte ich noch Spass daran, diese Zeiten sind vorbei. Jetzt will ich einfach nur ein funktionierendes System, das nicht ständig meine Aufmerksamkeit erfordert.
Überlege genervt, wieder zu einer #Debian Distribution zu wechseln. #Arch #Archlinux

I like using MacMinis too but this lets you get down and dirty.
I'm interested in setting up #WireGuard on my #Debian colo, as a #VPN solution for my phone when I'm on untrusted networks. But the quick start guide being a video is really putting me off, and the examples seem to be purely about ad-hoc peer-to-peer networking rather than a gateway.
I'm tempted to go back to my comfort zone with #OpenVPN, but I'll stick with it. At some point it'll click and I'll write a HOWTO.
