The Guardian · If you’re reading this column, Elon Musk has messed upBy Stewart Lee

So, I'm back in my hotel after a soggy day in Manchester. Managed to secure some dry (outdoor) seats for the 2nd show, headlined by Stewart Lee.

TL:DCASL. (Too long, don't care about Stewart Lee)
If you like Stewart Lee, it was good.

I know there are at least a few fans out there, I was wondering what he'd do with an hour on a shared bill, given his shows are, somewhat long form shall we say.

He was great, did some new tour bits, some really nice improvisation (not staged, one involved a moth that appeared), and surprisingly (to me at least) did a couple of "hits", namely, if you say you're English you can get put in jail, and, coming over here (fucking beaker people). He killed it, 10/10.

60% of the crowd sat in pissing rain watching it and nobody bailed out.

"The cocaine dealers of Britain are already putting in advance orders so thousands of middle-aged men can stand in stadiums next summer bellowing trivial conversations about fuck all at each other all through the gigs they’ve paid hundreds of pounds to touts to attend."
