It was late season to photograph the Milky Way. But having the opportunity of composing our galaxy's core with the ancient rock formations of Canyonlands National Park was something that I could not miss.
I woke up really early that day after driving from Denver to Moab, seeking for the perfect spot to photograph the Solar Anular Eclipse of October 14th, 2023.
After successfully register this amazing astronomical event, I drove the entire day visiting amazing landscapes of southern Utah. On my way back to Moab I decided to visit Canyonlands NP, where I spent the sunset and waited for the night to make the first shot with my new astromodified (H-alpha) Sony a7iv. I love the colors and hue that this camera provides.
