The Magnetic Fields show I went to with my best friends last night was great, Stephen's voice in person is really just so incredible even after all of these years and it was a very chill show for somebody who had a headache all day yesterday and already have one growing today too.

Yesterday I took Magnolia to its near terminus to see Burbank High School's adaptation of Hamlet. My friend and occasional Irregular Greg Pryor had told me that his daughter was portraying Ophelia.

She did well. And, yes, wow, sophomore in high school. Time sure does. Three years back they helped me with this track. It was a bass riff with simple text "Have a smart freezer, cannot close its own door."

(Neil Young's T-Bone was a guiding light.)
