The world doesn't work like an HBO series. If you try to make the world more like an HBO series you will only get: 1) STIs yet to be imagined 2) lawsuits 3) a much shittier world filled with progressively more disgruntled people.
Not that my recommendation means jack, nor do I have influence over anything more than my dog's food and water bowls but...here are my recommendations anyway:
1) Stop trying to get in some nonconsensual sexy-time with minors, subordinates, unconscious people and other unwilling participants.
2) Don't be an asshole. This means don't cut people off in traffic, don't scream at service staff, don't abuse others good will, time, and patience.
3) Realize that life is a cooperative game and not a zero-sum game. You will die. The only way to truly live is in solidarity with other people.

I’m just back from a trip to California where I was lucky enough to have the often rumoured random car rental mega-upgrade happen to me.
My LHR->SFO flight was 2 hrs late. The rental company (Hertz) couldn’t accept my #ChaseUK card as verification because it has no numbers printed on it, and it was now 11pm and I had a 20 mile drive to do.
I kept calm, stayed polite, and worked through options with them, which I think was appreciated, because instead of a “Compact” car, I got this… #BeNice

I'll add one more thing here - most foster kids were nice and kind, and really overcame issues that they, and their families had.
Most kids I knew during that time were awesome individuals, and only one kid turned out to be a criminal from like...50+ kids.
Some teens just really wanted to vent their ill feels at me, because I seemed well-adjusted compared to them. I simply taught them a lesson not to be a dick and not to look at book by its cover.

Today’s lesson in #beNice… when @WTL and I were out for a walk earlier today, I scoffed at him sliding slightly as he chose to walk on what was pretty much assuredly going to be a thin layer of ice. I promptly stepped onto a patch of dark asphalt and did a slow motion fall, landing on one knee and glute. I laugh cried at the quick correction by the universe to my attitude…
Icing it now, only slightly swollen so it will be a beautiful bruise over the next day or two…
You know what, people like this are a big reason I have a love/hate relationship with social media. Some people have such a low tolerance for any deviation from their own personal viewpoints that they act like an asshole to anyone who even slightly diverges. Just a reminder for all of us to not be a jerk to other people who are otherwise good people--and on the same side--in this crazy era of nonstop fighting about everything. #BeNice #DontBeAnAsshole
