I've just spent a pleasant half hour looking for new artists to follow on fedi. I searched hashtags watercolour, oilpainting and mixedmedia. It brought up some interesting accounts but it was VERY obvious that most #pixelfed accounts don't add #alttext I find this really disappointing as I don't boost posts with no alt text. I will encourage alt text by commenting and Alt4Yous but I wonder if there is another way to encourage alttext on pixelfed in general? #artistsonmastodon #artistsonpixelfed

Outside painting weather is back, baby! It's unusually dry this year, but later this week it's warm enough again to stay outside.

I finished this #watercolor last year - starting in a garden in our village. I wanted to catch the effect of the warm sunlight seeping through the roof onto the grape vines.
