Heya, I'm Blix. I came here from Tumblr because of the potential shutdown, but also to escape some of the annoying bots on there.
I enjoy folklore, mostly stories that involve monsters and mythical creatures. My current hyperfixation is the Lego Monkie Kid series and journey to the west. Sometimes I draw stuff (mostly OCs) for fun and only if I feel motivated. I guess the Squirrel OC is my sona in way.

David Revoy was one of my first digital art inspirations. I have a "Digital Video Disk" of his work painting a cool spaceship.
That was a LONG time ago.
#krita has flourished from his works and efforts.
My views and perspectives of art digital and otherwise have been transformed, and a bonus, I have been further inspired to remain in the FOSS world to contribute AND reap the benefits of many small communities, as a big one kinda!
When I see individuals like David around after so many years, it bolsters the stability in my works and it does give a boost of confidence and soft drive to simply keep improving and then helping others improve.

This was random. Thanks!

PS. hes in a muthafuggin museum!!!!

More from David Revoy

Based on some vision I see falling asleep after more stressful day. I saw black human silhouette, with game-style landscape background behind. That human could be even smaller compared to scene... He moved slightly - but his opponent very more mobile. Originally it was more like giant elephant or mammoth leg but it wouldn't look terrifying enough as drawn picture.

I could thing about one meaning then - it represented enemy or more abstract problem so big and overwhelming, impossible for small weak human to fight against.

I saved every version of this drawing file with name "Mighty Enemy".
