@Matt_Noyes yes, interesting. my sense of now is that without a solidarity (or otherwise new/alternative/regenerative/degrowth/anticapitalist/whatever) economy we slide from Free Software -> Open Source -> Open Core -> source available in increasing effort to make it compatible with capitalism.
Without another economic model "FOSS" as a viable model is screwed I think, and so the movements should march together (and also break free from from Stallmans grip).
