I absolutely love `config.d` folders as a concept (remembering with a distinct lack of fondness all the time wasted debugging issues caused by some package blatt-ing my `<x>.conf` file), but I really wish they were consistent in their ordering.

The fact that in `sshd_config.d` the *first* entry lexicographically wins, whereas in `sysctl.d` the *last* entry wins always trips me up, and I end up having to resort to the man pages every time I make a change to make sure I'm numbering the new file correctly :@

I've been given an old #Nextcloud server with a request to update it. It was still running v17 (2019) and had never been updated. I duplicate the content on a new server with a docker based version of nextcloud 17 and patiently update, one after the other, the 13 major version until v30. It works like a breeze. The recommendations after each migration where clear, occ commands works perfectly.

Congratulations #nextcloud, great job. ❤️

Imagine wondering “When’s the next time that Christmas will be a Tuesday/Wednesday, for those sweet optimal public holidays (Jan 1st being exactly a week later)?”

Now imagine asking, idk, google or Siri or god forbid an actual calendar, instead of turning to the best tool for the job: systemd.
