I just found out that at my workplace, my contract has to be authorized by #doge.

And the software I manage as a systems engineer is also required to be authorized by #doge.

If either are refused, I'm fired.

I also, a few weeks ago, did another Fedihired post. That thread, along with hundreds of resumes submitted haven't even gotten me so much as a phone screen.

Well, except 2. I was contacted by 2 contractor companies in making weapons. And that's my hard line I won't cross. Maybe I should reconsider?

Finally some good news on the #JobSearch front! I've accepted a Software Engineer III position at #LexisNexis Risk Solutions, starting at the end of the month.

Just found out my client contract is unexpectedly ending at the end of this month, and that puts me at risk of a layoff at my consulting firm after that.
