On 28 March 1995, Wu-Tang Clan member Ol' Dirty Bastard released his solo debut 'Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version'.

Mastering the art of combining sly lyricism with fractional singing, his delivery "inadvertently godfathered rap's drugged up rambling style that's popular now, kinda like how Iggy Pop unintentionally created punk rock in '69."

"Then we got the Ol' Dirty Bastard
'Cause there ain't no father to his style" - Method Man

WU-TANG CLAN - A Better Tomorrow

emcritic.blogspot.com/2015/01/

How has it been a decade now, and this remains the Wu's last album? Right, technically that ultra-rare one is, but no one really cares about 'Once Upon A Time In Shaolin' - how could they, if they never hear it?

I dunno', it just feels weird that the Clan hasn't reconvened for something proper in ten years. Not that they *need* to, just weird, is all.
