It’a worth watching the whole thing. Premier Wab Kinew sets out their plans and commits to using a portion of it to build out transmission lines going north and developing and supporting trade corridors.

My admiration for the esteemed Premier grows each day.

I love this. We’re so lucky to have Premier Wab Kinew.

#Manitoba will let two of its hydroelectric agreements which exported power to the U.S. expire. The province is "repatriating" that power.

"We saw that there's 500 [megawatts] of export contracts that are expiring at the end of the month, and so we've decided as #Canadians and as Manitobans [that] we are going to use that power to build up our own economy here at home.” #WabKinew

“[Manitoba] says it hired 1,255 new health staff to work in the public system from last April to the end of December.

They include health-care aides, nurses, midwives and physicians.

Health Minister Uzoma Asagwara says dozens of recently retired nurses have rejoined the workforce.”

Amazing what can happen when you have a premier that’s not looking after their developer friends.

“For the people.” Ya right…
