"With Vulcan’s certification, Space Force is no longer solely reliant on SpaceX" by @arstechnica / @sciguyspace - US Space Force approves United Launch Alliance's new Vulcan rocket for carrying #military payloads after two successful orbital test launches. There was extra paperwork due to a solid rocket nozzle failure on cert flight 2. Though that launch succeeded anyway by running the 2nd stage longer. arstechnica.com/space/2025/03/ #ULA #VulcanCentaur #space #business

The loss of a solid rocket motor nozzle on the second flight of #ULA’s #Vulcan Centaur last October was caused by a manufacturing defect that has been corrected. The #AirForce had concluded ULA “has performed unsatisfactorily”. That report also said the Air Force was assessing if it was feasible to reassign launches awarded to ULA to an “alternate provider,” which would be #SpaceX. spacenews.com/manufacturing-de

@ProPublica There have to be many, many parties who are damaged by #elonmusk 's blatant conflicts of interest.

Is there any sign that #SpaceX 's corporate competitors are attempting to hold them accountable?

#boeing, #ula, #blueorigin and others ... are they not responding to this and the #nasa contract : msn.com/en-us/autos/news/leake

(Ed : For record #SpaceX got those contracts cause they could deliver while other vendors could not. That is about to change! (Go Go #Rocketlab #ULA #ESA & #BlueOrigin 💪🏽🚀)

That was quick!
And surprising! At least at first!
@FAANews says NO INVESTIGATION REQUIRED for @ulalaunch #VulcanRocket #Centaur?
Is this blatant bias?
Or are we forgetting something?

( Ed : I will tell ya' #ULA doesn't openly bad mouth #EPA and #FAA like Elon 🙄)

"#ULA’s second Vulcan rocket lost part of its booster and kept going" by @arstechnica / @StephenClark1 - Alarming "sparks" look like fragments of solid fuel grain. 2nd stage liquid-fuel engines fired longer to compensate. arstechnica.com/space/2024/10/ #VulcanCert2 #space

ULA launches second #Vulcan flight, encounters strap-on booster anomaly…

#ULA CEO Tory Bruno said it will be investigated: “The trajectory was nominal throughout,” he said on the company’s launch webcast. “We did, however have an observation on SRB No. 1, so we will be off looking at that after the mission is complete.”

"#ULA launches second Vulcan flight, encounters strap-on booster anomaly" by @SpaceflightNow - #VulcanCert2 successfully reached intended orbit. But SRB anomaly with visible sparks will need review. Success needed for US Space Force contracts. spaceflightnow.com/2024/10/04/ #space
