Ich finde keine Worte.
I just love trail running! But when I can also be out and about in magnificent landscapes, like here at the Bovalhütte in the Engadin, it's the perfect combination! I just love these glacier landscapes! They never cease to amaze me, even if they're getting smaller and smaller.
Two pictures of the Swiss mountains Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Just taken about an hour apart. One is all blue and one looks so shiny.
The autumn colours in the Engadin are something very special, whether you're taking photos, hiking or trail running. We love this atmosphere and the time between the golden larches and the first snow. Everything is so quiet and yet so overwhelming.
Almost too beautiful to be true.
Allow me to introduce: Our curious little friend, Mr Ibex.
We often come across these fascinating animals in the mountains and are always amazed by their elegance and grace, but also by their climbing skills and ability to survive in this inhospitable landscape.
The weekend is just around the corner and we're already looking forward to a few trails right on our doorstep! We are so grateful to be at home in a region that offers us the entire alpine spectrum, from long hikes and challenging trail runs to impressive ski tours. It's so lovely and quiet now in the autumn, before the ski season kicks off in a few weeks!
We are already in an autumn mood. When the larches turn yellow and the mountains glow golden, we are fully in our element. What's more, everything slows down a little, we automatically take more time, dare to look back - and perhaps ahead.
What do you love most about autumn?
There's nothing better than spending an evening in the mountains, is there? This time we were treated to another magical sunset. I just love these moments!
Not featured in the photo: the delightfully deafening sound of cowbells.

Sometimes it looks more complicated than it is.
On this hike I had to take a deep breath before we tackled this scree slope. The path alternated between coarse boulders & fine scree. But after a few meters of climbing I felt much more confident & on the descent - as so often - it was as if I had never done anything else.
Sometimes it helps to put your thoughts aside & just do it.
Sometimes it doesn't need much. Just a few good views. These ones we got during a hike up to the impressive but easy to climb summit of Pierre Avoir. From down in the Rhône valley it looks like a sharp tooth, impossible to climb. But from the backside it's a really nice hike, either from #Verbier or La Tzoumaz.
We're curious what your Sunday lookes like. Can you share?
