I am looking forward to some personal travel over the next few days, visiting family and colleagues in #Wisconsin. I’ll be in Madison on Thursday evening and Friday, then in Milwaukee for the weekend before returning to #Sudbury.

This will be the first time in a LONG time that I’ve been back to my graduate school alma mater, UW-Madison. I am excited to see the campus, old mentors and new colleagues, and see how the city has changed (or not).

What a winter storm! From the perspective of relevant data, here is what that system looked like at my weather station in #Sudbury yesterday.

My station cannot measure snowfall, only rainfall, but there was a whole bunch of snow … blowing snow … it was ice-desert-level stuff yesterday and the wind was FIERCE last night, with gusts over 50 km/h.

I have a #MutualAid request for a disabled man with pets that is about to be evicted from his home on 3/23 and will have 60 days to find a new place. If anyone is in the #Sudbury #Ontario area that can provide a place for him to crash while he seeks out a longer term option, please contact him through Discord @themetalavenger. Thanks! ❤️
