It was a much cooler pleasant day. To celebrate #EarthDay, Kengo appreciated the soil, weeds, flowers, trees, and the air. Our life depends on nature and the earth, which we should never forget.

I did get up early so we could beat the heat. We had a nice 2.5-hour walk. although I got lost a bit and wasted time. Water was abundant at the waterfalls and it isn't a bad shot for handheld.

#TGIF really...Hot and it's going to stay hot for the next few days. Humidity slightly picked up unfortunately, but it's still bearable. I really need a good rest and Kengo wants you to, too.

Our four shelters in #Boston, #Methuen, #Salem, and Centerville on #CapeCod are participating, as are #Lowell Humane and MASS partners Berkshire Humane, #Worcester ARL, Boston Animal Control, Dakin Humane, and Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control & Adoption Center.

Ember, a two year old larger breed dog at Worcester Animal Rescue League, sits outside on a muddy field.
