Does this look like a sick dog? Got him to Vet today after 2 weeks not eating much and diarrhea this morning early. This is my $420 dog portrait of Buddy today. Ahmed is holding his leash while I give my credit card over. X-rays, “tummy medicine”, and bloodwork to be sent out. Yikes. He does have a very tense belly so something not right but what. Hope not a return of Valley Fever! It’s been 4 years since he had it. He’s lost 5 pounds in 6 months so vet says something may be up. #DogsOfMastodon #MonDog

Buddy our tan and white scruffy terrier on leash and sitting in the Vet office lobby. He seems smiling and happy. Ahmed is mostly out of view sitting there. Buddy has sweat bands on front that look like a jogger wearing red terry bands. Those are the places blood had to be drawn.

Pup came in to do yoga and got distracted by the birdies (there is a nest just outside the window and sparrows are LOUD).

I said to her today: "So cute and so full of love, you are getting me through this week" before realizing that it's only Monday! Whew!

#Mondog It was hot today at 85F/29C. We waited again to let the sun calm down a bit and had an outdoor time. Just doing this with him is so therapeutic, and it never gets old. I wish we could send you the strong fragrance of the azaleas.

These two hooligans had the best weekend, with a visit to the dog park and a vigorous chew sesh on one of my wife's shoes. They are horrible and do not deserve the unending line of hugs and treats that comprises the bulk of their existence.

Phoebe the Insane Bulldog and Edgrr the Gentleman Boston Terrier both perched on the couch, next to one another, in the same pose, looking adorable.
