Yisrael Frey is a haredi journalist facing scrutiny and potential legal action in Israel for his social media posts. He is being investigated on suspicion of "incitement to terrorism" after he stated that a Palestinian harming an Israeli soldier or settler in the "apartheid territories" is a "hero fighting an oppressor."

This opinion column begins with Niv’s experience encountering a critique of Netanyahu that, like many Israelis, fails to acknowledge the crimes Israel is committing. There’s little recognition that Israel’s actions today have anything to do with self-defense and are instead a continuation of a revenge war.

He argues that many Israelis who oppose #Netanyahu avoid criticizing the actions of #Israel and its army in #Gaza, effectively supporting those actions. But Netanyahu is a consequence of the Zionist vision, and to remove him without dismantling that vision is insufficient. The focus should be on dismantling the Zionist vision itself.

A youth #LGBTQ+ organization is calling for Shapiro’s removal due to his past statements and views on LGBTQ+ rights and abortion. Minister of Culture Miri Regev defended the choice, citing Shapiro's unwavering support for Israel.

Ben Shapiro, a conservative American political commentator, author, and lawyer. He described homosexual activity as a sin, advocating for transgender identity as a mental disorder. Along with his opposition to abortion and promotion of conservative social policies, his opinions have drawn accusations of harmful rhetoric and discriminatory views, making him a polarizing figure. Not in Israel though.
