Happy to announce that our paper (ft. @jrfaller) "A #GroundedTheory of #Community #PackageMaintenance #Organizations" has been accepted for publication in the Empirical #SoftwareEngineering journal! It is already available as a preprint at https://hal.telecom-paris.fr/hal-03976601. In this paper, we observe and build a theory of organizations such as #Elm Community, #VoxPupuli, etc. that inspired me to create the Coq-community organization for the #Coq ecosystem.

For all that #dataScience seems like a specialized corner of academia, I end up teaching on a wide swath from #qualitative coding and #groundedTheory to high-performance computing. Yesterday it was #dataHygiene in #Excel - today the pendulum swings and I'm teaching #webscraping with #Python. At least it keeps my #adhd from turning into boredom though.

Frage an Menschen, die sich mit soziologischer Theorie beschäftigen (falls es davon hier überhaupt Personen gibt):
Ich lese mich grade ein zur Akteur-Netzwerk-Theorie und nochmal dazu zwischendrin bestimmte Teile der Grounded Theory (nach Adele Clarke).
Nun kann ich aber ja nicht dauernd meinen Prof damit belatschern, wenn ich über bestimmte Dinge dabei #diskutieren will, z. B. wenn mir was auffällt, ich aber nicht sicher bin, ob das andere auch so sehen.
Vllt besteht ja die geringe Aussicht darauf, dass es hier jemand gibt, der sich auch damit beschäftigt?
Wäre cool, falls das so wäre, könnte man sich für einen gemeinsamen Austausch über Matrix oder so (Mail, Telefon whatever) treffen?
