Interesting people, kids playing live jazz, nice coffee and food, quirky stuff for sale that’s not price-gouged or drop-shipped junk. I'm loving this! A Catalogue of Unfindable Objects by the French illustrator Jacques Carelman. Found the Finnish edition at a flea market. While I don't I think I need an umbrella umbrella, I would love to own an egyptologist's typewriter.

Fresh flea market finds. This time I took a trip to Riihimäki, to two big flea markets, #femmatori and #riihimäenkellari. Was totally blown away by the amount & variety of LPs. Short walk from the train station. Warmly recommended! The black cd is Fred Frith.

A good day at the #fleamarket: here is a bag of junk I got there. There are a few PS1s in there, a few slim PS2s, a megadrive 2 and a PS4 that does not sync pads when in OS mode (dead BT module or corrupted FW).

But these are not the best thing I bought today...

Great art book finds at a recent fleamarket trip to Hyvinkää, a small-ish town with a huge-ish fleamarket, Villatehtaan kellari. Easy to reach via train. Warmly recommended! Hot tip: there is also a wonderful Vietnamese restaurant (Sao Viet) near the flea market.

Your Berlin homeless aid

I rarely write about this here, but who knows me, also knows that I'm a sucker for old paper as much as I am for old electronics.
This is a small gem I found today at the #fleamarket.

It's a small anthology of parables, legends and thoughts lifted from the the Talmud. The book contains a dedication from the original owner gifting the book to his nephew, so that reading this book he may learn to love, as who loves is good and wise, and otherwise who does not is unhappy.

Today’s #fleamarket #blešák only yielded this preamp. It looks okay inside, but I lack a power supply for it (should be 15V AC).

Beside the Xbox, I found other junk at the #fleamarket today. Here is a cracked open #NES and an #Atari VCS with the antenna cord cut off.
