Thinking back to my comment about ditching jewelry & shaving my head bald, were I competing in sports at the highest level, the #Olympic 100 meters sprint final being decided by .005 of a second bolsters my case. That is so tiny. Ditch all of the flapping wings, jewelry (incl. rings) weighing you down, creating eddies to overcome. I might dress like #FlavorFlav for practice & PR, but in competition (I ran cross-country races barefoot), I'd seek every possible advantage.

Flavor Flav garnered headlines last week for his sponsorship of the U.S. women's water polo team, and now he's helping out track and field athlete Veronica Fraley. Fraley, a discus thrower and student at Vanderbilt University, wrote on X that in spite of representing her country in her sport, she's unable to pay rent, while her school will "pay football players (who haven’t won anything 😂) enough to buy new cars and houses." The Public Enemy rapper immediately sent her money, as did Reddit co-founder/Mr. Serena Williams Alexis Ohanian. Flav later confirmed that Fraley's rent has been covered for the year.
