I wrote to my MP this morning about #BlueLabour and the party acting exactly like the Tories. I couldn't say whether it will get through, or whether or not she'll actually read it herself, but 🤞
I explained that I vote tactically and that I would not vote for this Labour government again; that people voted to get an actual Labour government and not a Tory continuity government. It's so short-sighted their policies and behaviour defy reason and are driving people either to the LD or Reform 😠

I do not think that #keirstarmer has that fantasy. I do suspect that he is only too aware that the #uk will have to choose - and which choice it should make. He has to face the fact that at least two of the opposition parties - the #conservatives , #reformUK and the #democraticunionistparty - are unlikely to support him. Nor will their allies in the media. Worse still he may be facing something of a 'fifth column' within #labour - of which #mauriceglasman and #bluelabour are part.

Labour defy UK’s international duties by sneaky citizenship change

#Labour accused of defying the UK’s international obligations after #covertly changing rules governing whether #asylum seekers can become #British #citizens

Monday UK Govt quietly altered Home Office’s “good character guidance” to state people will now “normally” be refused citizenship if they entered the UK by irregular means – no matter how long they have lived here

Rich and powerful elites have successfully transformed the planet into a plaything for toxic, warmongering billionaires. And by blocking a global attempt to crack down on tax havens, UK Labour Party prime minister Keir Starmer has proved yet again that his compromised government will do nothing to challenge that corrupt, destructive order.

A PARODY song lampooning Keir Starmer’s Labour Government for its cuts to the Winter Fuel Payment has hit number one in the UK charts.

The song Freezing This Christmas – by the artist “Sir Starmer and the Granny Harmers” – hit the top of the Official Big Top 40 chart on December 15.

The song uses the tune of the 1974 Mud classic Lonely This Christmas, which also topped the charts at number one when it was first released.

The Find Out Now survey of 4694 British adults, which was conducted on December 11, found that 26% of people said they would back Keir Starmer’s party in a General Election, compared to 25% who would back Reform.

The Conservatives, in third place, were on track to win 23% of the vote, according to the nationally representative poll.

The LibDems polled at 11% and the Greens 9%. The SNP and Plaid Cymru polled at 3% and 1%.

Keir Starmer - who like his Health Secretary Wes Streeting has accepted large donations from private health interests - has made his intentions for the NHS even clearer, with aides briefing media that in a speech today he will say that the NHS must 'reform or die'.

Starmer said in 2020, he would bring the NHS fully back into public ownership!

Chameleon like changes once in power!

"The UK could have faced a run on the pound and an economic crash if Rachel Reeves had not axed winter fuel payments for millions of pensioners to fill a black hole in the public finances, Commons Leader Lucy Powell said."

Financial competence and Labour's front bench are strangers. What a complete lot of tosh! Beggars belief!
