I'm supportive of this proposal by @huitema to put some friction in the way of social graph #spiders and other scrapers:

I'm pretty sure that #Mastodon is already being #scraped by the intelligence agencies or the shadowy companies that support them, or by companies using it for training data for face recognition or other #privacy-invasive data gathering.

Let's make it more difficult for the scrapers!
