Two things that happened this week:
- YouTube started banning the use of ad blockers
- Google was found serving ads with malware

Yes, they keep serving ads with a "skip to recipe" button that goes straight to a malware extension for their own browser.
Agree it should take relatively little ML and ad review skill to detect ads featuring a fake UI element or unlicensed trademark
@Greg @cameron I remember years ago Google would serve an ad with a malware-ridden version of Chrome when googling for just the word "chrome". Like the malware ad was literally the first result. I think it was that way for at least a day or two before they finally removed the ad. It was bizarre. It seriously reinforced the need for adblockers.
