@ntnsndr @taylorlorenz based on what I read on that page, the covenant is only to be listed in their server picker, not to join the fediverse. So they would not need to comply with the covenant.

@ayoubabedrabbo @taylorlorenz Right. Similarly, I imagine fediverse servers would need to adhere to certain standards to be able to federate with Threads.

But to be clear, this listing defines the larger part of the fediverse, because if servers federate with noncompliant servers, they can face trouble.
