IMO, Apple would NEVER make this Patreon decision if shareholder pressure didn’t force them to depend so heavily on share value growth and, therefore, on services revenue growth.

@davemark Do you think that taking a cut from Patreon is going to make a difference in their profits? I don’t.
However, if this is only the first step of them taking a cut from services like Kickstarter and GoFundMe, then that could make a lot of money. And that would be seriously evil.
