Eigentlich hat keine:r mehr daran gezweifelt, doch, wie wir schon in der Vergangenheit gelernt haben, gilt auch in der Rundfunk- und Medienpolitik ein Vertrag erst, wenn die Tinte der Unterschriften trocken ist.

Was die „Anstalten“ aus dem neuen Staatsvertrag ableiten werden, und welche Schlüsse zur „Bündelung“ sie ziehen werden, wird uns also in den nächsten Monaten beschäftigen. Sicher ist: Jetzt wird es ernst!

Privacy First (https://privacyfirst.nl/artikelen/patienten-worden-grondstof-in-agemas-nieuwe-datafabriek/, bron: [1]) beschreef gisteren veel risico's van het in verkeerde handen vallen van uw medisch dossier, risico's die enorm worden vergroot "dankzij" de verzamelwoede van gezondheidsministers en sufgelobbyde EC-leden.

LET OP: het wordt opt-out. *U* moet in actie komen als u de bijbehorende risico's niet wilt lopen.

Of uw opt-out veel helpt is wél de vraag, want eerder leidden veel opt-out schema's tot achteraf "foutje, bedankt" mededelingen (als u dat al ter ore komt). Zo ook bij de NZA, die glashard loog dat onrechtmatig verzamelde GGZ-data niet meer kon worden verwijderd (want "gepseudonimiseerd" - larie, dat is nagenoeg altijd omkeerbaar).

Tip: baseer uw eventuele oordeel niet op één bron.

I suspect you are not even allowed to force people to accede to the cookies which protect your site from spammers. Bonkers.

In any case, the cookie “_GRECAPTCHA” used was not a technically necessary cookie and consent would therefore have had to be obtained. Implementing this service with [that cookie] could not be considered a technical necessity. For the reasons set out above, the data processing that followed the implementation of Google services (…) was not covered by any justification under Article 6(1) GDPR, which is why there was a violation of the right to confidentiality.

I know my chances of this are slim; But does anyone have any experience with 11.#" -> 13.#" epaper displays that don't cost a fortune?

I see lots of them but because they're Chinese panels. Generally this means they're untested, of questionable quality, usually don't accept returns, have pin counts that are odd and will take a month to reach me (not the worst, but sucks to wait knowing it still might be the wrong item).

I see some #waveshare panels but one + adapter board is almost $500 and that's not even close to feasible.

Glider (https://github.com/Modos-Labs/Glider) & GxEPD2 both list part numbers in their readmes (very bottom of the page) however even the 'tested' options list adapters that do not seem to be an obtainable item. #GxEPD2 seems to not have anything above the 1000x1000px mark.

So far I've tried to narrow down my hunt to >11", Minimum of 1000x1000 panel, with a 40-pin cable. 40p seems standard-ish.

It also appears that while I would love to use an #esp32 the bandwidth available via it's pins isn't high enough and program headroom is tight, so this may be forced towards a pi.

The last few days have been super busy with a surprising variety of work;

• Started stripping and painting my shed.
• Trimmed up all the yards and hedges for fall
• Reworked the filtering system on my pond and bought some new koi to join the flock. (Much happier fish)
• Reworked the #MQTT segment of my home automation system.
• Started 3d designs to change how the water is added back to the pond
• Designed an ASA #3dprint spout to prevent splashing and keep the ground dry(ish).
• Translated a hardware specific piece of software from Chinese to English, as the option didn't exist.
• Built an #NTP server for my network (#stratum2 or 3, I believe) from GPS data
• Setup my #coffee roaster to use #Artisan
• Wrote a piece of software to pull data from a serial device (thermometer) that isn't supported natively and provide the data to artisan
• Do that again but in 3 more languages (testing speed and options). #powershell, #python, #C++ and #rust, the rust one doesn't work yet but I'm VERY new to it.
• Setup #ollama for coding support (I'm stunned how well this works)
• Started an #eink / #epd project to display art
• Bought a sewing machine to modify my fly fishing vest .....

If only I had a few more #hobbies.
