It was not uncommon in the sixties for states to claw back money from children for parents’ treatment. Even today the filial responsibility laws are enforced (see below) One of the points in Project 2025 is to eliminate Medicare and to make children even more responsible for parents

Even the best corporate pensions of the time were of little use once medical costs got high. Social Security plus Medicare helped relieve much of that.

Dobrindts Lob auf Trumps "Reg.stil" per Dekret (= in Diktatormanier am Parlament vorbei)
Merz empfing #Vance nach und trotz dessen unsäglicher Forderung von "Freedom of Speech" für die #noafd, eine Einmischung in die #btw25. Das Treffen hätte Merz absagen können/ müssen, wenn er auf Seiten der #Demokratie und gegen Trump wäre.
Du schreibst es: Wie hier "unten" müssen alles selbst in die Hand nehmen.
