These thrasher workshops strengthened & developed our partnerships, and now our partners in Sonora have taken the helm of #thrasher surveys in #Mexico. Their work has vastly expanded current knowledge on the Bendire’s Thrasher there, critical to their #conservation.

Curve Billed Thrasher by Debra Martz
Along a trail was an area of fallen trees of which some had been cut to maintain passage. This Curve-billed Thrasher spent a minute or so hopping around possibly in search of insects. Location: Mission, Texas.
Soft smudging tool has been used on the piles of tree trunks and limbs to bring more emphasis to the bird.
