The Bendire’s Thrasher is more widespread, found in deserts and arid woodlands from southern Nevada and Utah to southern Sonora in Mexico. It was long believed to be conspecific with the more common and very similar Curve-billed Thrasher.

One week of thrasher surveys is in the books, and we had two rare Bendire's Thrashers on our first day!
