there was gardening and house chores! The day has flown

I've also managed to achieve 4 incorrect holes in the garage ceiling giprock today. Now I need to wait for hammer barn to open

Tip... don't put holes in things if hammer barn is closed and there is a chance you will stuff it up

This evenings plans include Web searching DIY ceiling repair options

Remember that you are unique, so be kind to yourself.. and if you something up... you are unlikely to be the first, for sure someone else has beaten you to that medal.. and hopefully, there is a tutorial with fix it options in the interweb somewhere!

I've finished work for the week and now have a 4 day weekend in which to plan my domination of the universe!!! (OK, maybe just my garden)

Life update - I have no chocolate

AND to make matters worse.. the silly little owl keeps trying to get me to say (in indonesian) that I don't like chocolate (AS IF!)

Now I need to get chocolate because the owl reminded me that it exists!

Hopefully, your Wednesday contains chocolate or some other treat...

T likes cauliflower , G doesn't

I've been putting the cauliflower in the breakfast vegetable plate for the pair of them

G* picks it up and dumps it on the floor
T makes a fuss for me to return it to the plate as civilised birbs do not eat scraps from the floor

Today, I put the cauliflower in a separate dish... G promptly dumped the entire contents of that dish before moving to the dish containing more acceptable vegetables

Well, that didn't work!

*G is the boss, and T will not eat until she allows it

He did a 360°spin and didn't quite manage to finish the 2nd one

Apparently, it's all my fault. Luckily, he is telling me off in budgie talk... because I suspect in human talk, the language may be a bit blue

G&T went to the #Budgie doctor for their check-up and pedicures today

Both are healthy, weighing in at around 38g

We're home, and they are now exploring their cage, eating treats, and listening to music

I wonder how long it will take them to forgive me this time?

I've managed a propper clean of the fridge today...
Full defrost of its freezer etc... it's all sparlky and fresh smelling

I found a beer...? I'll need to find someone to donate it to!

Tomorrow it will be the turn of the chest freezer

It is the perfect time as both are pretty much empty after the WEATHER event

There were a few perishables missed in the big fridge empty out after the blackout .. now sorted

Hopefully you achieve something (even if it is a nap) today and maybe find a pleasant surprise

It's been quite a busy day

Gardening workshop this morning
(Apparently, I am supposed to be preparing to plant European temperate climate summer plants)

Cyclone Alfred is still hanging around the coast and is expected to make landfall, maybe Thursday... goodness knows where, so it's a watch and wait

I've put the garden furniture into the shed / garage and have left room for the more delicate plants

A bit more prep to do... but i should de ready if Alfie comes to visit
