I'm actually legitimately furious at Disney's portrayal of Pleakley as just a generic male tourist as a disguise instead of putting him in drag. I already wasn't going to see this live action Lilo & Stitch affront to everything good in the world, but man, they hit bedrock and decided to dig down to hell with this bad boy.

Wait. How did I miss that they relocated the new #LiloAndStitch to #Oahu from the OG's #Kauai? For non-Hawai'i people, that's a pretty big change! That's almost like setting a live action Totoro film in a Tokyo suburb. Lilo and Stitch are to Hanapepe what the Kusakabe girls and Totoro are to Tokorozawa.

My new favorite thing is mentioning Lilo & Stitch to people. And when they say "oooh I loved that movie as a kid!" I ask if they remember what it's about. And then watch them recall and go "daaaaamn Disney..."
