The #ChicagoBears are destroying #CalebWilliams just like they broke #JustinFields. Turning a great player into a guy scared to fuck up. That's why he is throwing over their heads and starting to run too much. Both didn't do that in college. The difference so far is that they've given Caleb better options to throw to. Eberflus is a great DC but not good enough as a head coach. And because that's his focus, we invested too much on that side of the ball instead of the offensive line. #NFL

It's the final week and the #WashingtonCommanders with the 2nd overall pick have completely fucked up their QB search. They have a ton of good picks this year. Now's the time #ChicagoBears. Let them move up and take #CalebWilliams for a bunch of those picks. Take #MarvinHarrisonJr and get #JustinFields back from the Steelers. Give them something for helping you pull this off. Keep building through the draft. That's what works long-term. #NFL

I've seen #JustinFields do everything they tell me makes #CalebWilliams great. I've seen the highlights. Justin is more elusive, taller, stronger, faster. His long ball is more accurate. I'm not hearing that Caleb is an amazing pocket passer, which Justin struggled with but got better at as his protection and WRs improved. Why waste a top pick on what will be at best, a small improvement. The only argument that makes sense is the contract reset, but that's temporary. Damnit #ChicagoBears. #NFL

If you're bad enough to earn an early pick in the #NFL draft and take a QB, you have to focus everything else you have around helping them succeed. Primarily OL and WRs. And a proven OC who can call plays. Otherwise, unless they are generational, they will be hurt, lose their confidence or look like such shit that everyone will demand a new QB and offensive coordinator when their contract renewal comes up. This should be obvious. Damn did the #ChicagoBears fuck #JustinFields.

Everybody admits #JustinFields had no support and did well with what he was given. That he handled it in the media better than anybody could expect. His teammates loved him. And now just as the #ChicagoBears were surrounding him with talent, they trade him for an unknown quantity. And we only have this top pick because last year's top sure thing QB didn't turn out that way. I don't fucking get it. #NFL

"After five seasons in Carolina with eight different quarterbacks throwing him the ball, #DJMoore reached career highs in receptions (96), receiving yards (1,364), yards per game (80.2) and touchdowns (8) last season."

On the #ChicagoBears with #JustinFields throwing to him and defenses having no other WR to worry about and a bad OL. I'm so tired of the expectations we'll draft Caleb. We went on a tear once we got Montez Sweat and almost made the playoffs last year. We're coming. #NFL

IMO the #ChicagoBears want to keep #JustinFields and draft #MarvinHarrisonJr. But without any 2nd round picks, they really want more than a WR for that top pick. It's expected AZ will take MHJ at 4th overall if they can, before the Bears pick again at 9th.

So they're left with only two possible trade partners if their top priority is MHJ. They need WASH (2nd) and NE (3rd) to fear the Bears want their preferred QB so they'll offer a ton to move up. That's the misdirection Poles is selling. #NFL

It's weird but nice to hear people talk about how #JustinFields could really help their team. That their team has all the other pieces in place to get the most out of him. He totally could. He's great. It's an acknowledgement that what's missing with the #ChicagoBears is the supporting staff, something that maximizing the trade value of that 1st overall pick could do a lot to help us rectify. Love the talk but hate it too. #nfl
