Fantastic! #BSidesLV has posted the talks for 2024!

See my talk on building a CIRP from Scratch as well as see what my spooky themed costume was!

Huge thanks to @1dark1 for making my kamon which i proudly debuted in all its glory at BsidesLV!

My talk at @BSidesLV is now available! In this session I shared insights on how we’re using purple teaming and threat intelligence at Banco do Brasil to enhance our security strategy.

Home sweet home. I'll be masking around my wife and kids for a couple days while I let whatever germs I may have picked up make themselves known. Hopefully my masking was enough (N95, P99) but I definitely was the least disciplined about it this year than I have been the previous 3.

Further, despite the very tall ceilings in the LVCC, my CO2 meter never registered below 1100 PPM, which registers amber in the traffic light protocol scale. Often it was in the red ESPECIALLY in the workshops. Basically, ventilation was atrocious at #defcon while #bsideslv did an EXCELLENT job in that department in a much smaller space. I took readings at the Tuscany that were often in the triple digits.

Regardless, I hope everyone manages to stay healthy and I'll see you next year!

Last day of summer camp is upon us. I definitely didn’t do as much as I’d planned, but I’m very glad to have met up with my peoples. I joked with someone in the hall that it’s like an episode of Cheers (and then immediately realized I was showing my age).

When we left Orlando last year I didn’t really get an extended goodbye due to the circumstances, and catching up with the Rizz Kitties and crew was a blast. Seeing my friends doing awesome things and supporting them wherever possible just feels great.

Meeting up with the Chicago crew in Vegas felt good too. It’s like nature is healing when I’m seeing the locals I keep meaning to see at BurbSec at con instead. 😂
