The idea of "comphet" was first introduced in Compulsory Heterosexuality and Lesbian Existence by Adrienne Rich. Adrienne Rich wasn't just a TERF. She was directly mentioned multiple times in the TERF book, The Transsexual Empire, by her colleague Janice Raymond.
