Getting ready to move house by getting rid of ~50% of my books in my home office.
Doing this by downloading them as epubs from https://annas-archive.org and then donating them to a charity shop.
You can debate the ethics of this with me until the heat death of the universe, but the author has been paid from my original purchase, and more people get to read their works this way.

What I find interesting is there are *still* quite a few books with no eBook version. Even relatively popular books.
Worst though are the samizdat editions which are poorly-formatted, copy-typed monstrosities full of mistakes.
@Edent Great minds! Glad I did it with my huge CD collection too back in a 2009. I did sell those though, cheekily.
