Anyone know why might disallow dragging a clip into the timeline? I'm getting a symbel like this ø over my cursor.

Perhaps related:

1. My stopped launching so I installed an RPM ( 38 )

2. There's a non-deletable "Sequences" folder in my Project Bin with a "Sequence 1" clip of some sort in it (even on newly openned files).

Any thoughts or tips appreciated!

1. Often happens when you drag a clip which has both a video and audio track and Kdenlive can't find a space on an audio track for audio. Try dragging one and then the other, or creating an audio track directly under the video track you want to drag you clip to.

2. Since we implemented nested clips, groups of clips you nest together are automatically stored in the Sequence folder. The non-deletable Sequence 1 is your overall complete project.

@kdenlive Super helpful! Thank you!

FWIW, it was a new project (nothing in timeline) with a single file (audio & video) that would not drag into the timeline, but could be added successfully by the keyboard shortcut "v". That said, it was a very long file (maybe 2-3 hours), so is it possible that drag wouldn't work and the keyboard shortcut would for some reason?

@rolandixor also had this issue, but only on X11 Gnome (I was also X11 Gnome).

In any case, thanks for a GREAT editor!

@kdenlive @rolandixor Thank you for being a great project that only gets better year after year!
