Anyone know why might disallow dragging a clip into the timeline? I'm getting a symbel like this ø over my cursor.

Perhaps related:

1. My stopped launching so I installed an RPM ( 38 )

2. There's a non-deletable "Sequences" folder in my Project Bin with a "Sequence 1" clip of some sort in it (even on newly openned files).

Any thoughts or tips appreciated!

So, for some reason the keyboard shortcut "v" works for adding the clips to the timeline, but dragging from the project bin does not.

No idea. I hesitate to think this is solved, per se, but I can at least work on my project. :)
