Do other Inbox Zero people also practice Browser Tabs Zero? Or are the two not necessarily correlated?
@ntnsndr I do both but I’ve *never* been a browser tab hoarder. As soon as I exceed like 10 or so I close everything except my pinned tabs. It’s just how I’ve been ever since tabs were invented. If I want to save something for later, that’s what bookmarks are for!
@harris Totally. I can't tell whether I'm an incredibly neat person or I just never got over early-2000s tab practices. But when I see someone else's browser window, with 10 million tabs open, I am horrified.
@ntnsndr @harris, you would faint if you saw my system ~5 desktops 2-5 windows per desktop, 5-25 tabs per window BUT I can pretty much get to anything I'm working on immediately. I do prune tabs daily and reboot every few days to clear RAM. The main problem is that Mac OS doesn't have a neat "cascade windows" like MS Windows does. (I use Linux for servers not desktops.)
