I’m wondering how the Jackson community decided who was assigned to which types of work other than taking note of any physical limitations that might prevent one from, say, running or riding a horse.

Did everyone who was able to patrol, teach kids, wash dishes or monitor the radios draw straws to see who would be assigned to those tasks? Or maybe people were asked to list their top five preferences? 🤔

Amazing shows I've watched recently...

- Daredevil: Born Again S1 (Disney+)
- The White Lotus S3 (Max)
- The Wheel of Time S3 (Prime Video)

And currently watching...

- The Last of Us S2 (Max)
- Andor S2 (Disney+)

Looking forward to more this year. What else should I be watching out for?

PS. Also, can we have just one streaming platform for all of these? I only watch a few shows/movies per platform anyway. 😂

Happy #WorldBookDay ! So, um, this is a special one for me because this year is the first time I HAVE BOOK. It's about real-world zombifiers—fungi (yes, like in #TheLastOfUs) worms, viruses and wasps—and their invertebrate victims.

OK, so it may not be the coziest of reads, but if zombies delight you perhaps this will too!

And if you buy a copy through @HopkinsPress , use the code HLFE25 to get a 40% discount, good through 4/30.

Despite all the drama and dangerous mushroom zombies,

I realized this week why watching The Last of Us relaxes me:

There's no computers.
There's no smart phones.
There's no capitalist tracking.
It's tech from 2003 😌 💽 📼

“The point of this story is that the entire concept of protagonist is flawed. The entire concept of villain is flawed. Our way of processing the world through heroes and villains is a mistake. It ends up creating these barriers between people that shouldn’t be there.” - Craig Mazin

"I got quite fixated on the way that Ellie looks in the game [...] It was a challenge for me to let myself off the hook for not looking computer-generated." -Bella Ramsey
